　　一般来表示习惯性和经常性的动作，常与usually sometimes everyday等时间状语连用.

　　它的肯定形式：I /You/ We/ They work here. He /She works here.

　　它的疑问形式及回答：Do I (you/ we/ they) work here? Yes, I (you/ we/ they) do.

　　No, I (you/ we/ they) don’t.

　　第三人称单数的疑问形式及回答：Does he/ she work here?

　　Yes, he/she does. No, he /she doesn’t.

　　一般现在时的否定形式：I /You/ We/ They don’t work there. He /She doesn’t work there.

　　当谓语为第三人称单数时谓语动词就要在词尾加上s 或者es，它的规则是：

　　1 一般动词加s. like—likes, work—works

　　2 以字母o,s,ch,sh,x结尾的动词加es. Do—does go –goes wash—washes

　　3 以辅音字母加y结尾的词先y变i为再加es. Study –studies carry—carries

　　在学习一般现在时我们要注意以下几点：

　　1 当主语是第三人称单数时谓语动词一般要在词尾加s 或者es，起到一定的变化。

　　它不仅局限于人称代词he /she/it而且 还有一些表示第三人称单数的名词比如：my father/teacher/ country, his coat.同时以至于象my name, their classroom.这样的词也都属于第三人称单数。

　　2 在一般现在时中主语为第三人称单数时，它的疑问句及否定句都需要借助于does,原来的动词都需要恢复原型。比如：She does her homework every day.

　　She doesn’t do her homework every day. Does she do her homework every day?
